Project Cost Estimator is a free web tool that gives realistic cost, timeline, and risk estimates for any web development project — in under 2 minutes, with no signup required.
The tool runs nine transparent calculation engines (platform recommendation, pricing, complexity, risk, timeline, monthly costs, ROI, insights, and quote generation), calibrated against more than 600 real project quotes across five geographic markets. Underlying rate data refreshes weekly via automated scrapers from Upwork, Clutch, GoodFirms, WebFX, Index.dev, Tapflare, VOCSO, and Arc.dev.
Built solo over six months by Florin Florea, the tool launched April 2026 and is sustained through optional $15 PDF reports and affiliate partnerships with hosting providers including Cloudways, Kinsta, SiteGround, and Shopify.
