Project Cost Estimator started as a tool we wished existed when we were freelancing. Buyers walk in already knowing what they need and roughly what it costs — instead of asking thirty agencies for blind quotes.
The directory side is new and buyer volume is still growing. Charging monthly fees against that volume today would mean selling a promise we can't stand behind — so listing is free while we build it. Every provider is verified by us personally, and when paid lead routing opens, founding agencies get first access at founding rates. No contracts, no NDAs, no retention games.

A public profile page in the /agencies directory, plus your card in the "Find Your Builder" panel on calculator results pages whenever a buyer's platform, market, and project type match your profile. Buyers contact you directly — we take no commission and sit in the middle of nothing.
Every visitor uses the calculator first — they pick their platform (WordPress, Shopify, Magento, etc.), market (US, UK, EU, etc.), and project type, and see a realistic budget range before reaching the results page. Your card only appears when their selections match your profile, so anyone who reaches out has already scoped their own project.
Honest answer: current lead volume doesn't justify charging for it, and we won't sell placements we can't back with numbers. The calculator is growing through SEO, and we'd rather fill the directory with real verified agencies now. Listing stays free while we're in early access.
We don't promise a number — that's exactly why the program is free right now. Buyers who match your profile see your card and contact you directly; how often that happens depends on your platforms, your markets, and how calculator traffic grows.
Once buyer volume justifies it, we'll open paid routing — project briefs with scope and budget band delivered to your inbox on every match. Founding agencies get first access, priority placement, and founding rates. Nothing about your listing changes without us asking you first.
Within 24-48 hours we check three things: (1) your website is live and professional, (2) you have public reviews or testimonials somewhere (Google, Clutch, LinkedIn, etc.), and (3) the platforms or markets you claim match your portfolio. No paperwork, no NDAs.
Directly. A buyer clicks your card on their results page and goes to your website, or views your profile page first. You deal with them on your terms — we don't broker the conversation and we don't take a cut of closed deals.
